Both the 500GB and 1TB drives are available right now, the 2TB will become available in February next year. The Crucial P1 series feature Micron's QLC NAND, that uses four bits per memory cell.

Crucial specifies maximum sequential reads of 2,000 MB/s and sequential writes of up to 1,700 MB/s for the 1TB model. Random read performance of this drive is specified at a maximum of 170,000 IOPS and random writes are are specified at a maximum of 240,000 IOPS.

The 500GB drive is slower with a specified maximum sequential read and writes of respectively 1,900 MB/s and 950MB/s. Maximum random reads and writes are specified at respectively 90,000 IOPS and 220,000 IOPS.
