Microsoft Launches Unexpected New Hardware

Technology heavyweight Microsoft has today launched a range of new hardware devices at its October 6th event.

Some of these products had been eagerly anticipated and predicted by the press however Microsoft’s surprise of the show was the new Windows laptop which they’ve christened the “Surface Book”. The Surface Book has already been raising eyebrows with its sleek looks and features a real, but still detachable keyboard, along a 13.5 inch 267 PPI display. The device weighs in at either 3.3 or 3.5 pounds depending on the exact configuration and Microsoft claims it’s twice as fast as a MacBook Pro.
