Microsoft today announced that Windows 10 is now running on 300 million active devices. The company reported 270 million devices in March and 200 million in January this year. The numbers show that the operating system shows strong growth. It's the fastest growing Windows ever, both on the business as the consumer market.
Windows 10 also has, "the highest customer satisfaction of any version of Windows", according to Microsoft. The coming summer new features should even increase that satisfaction with the release of the 'Anniversary Update' that contains new features and can run on both PCs and the Xbox One.
Till the 29th of July this year, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users can still upgrade to Windows 10 for free. After that, a full version of Windows 10 Home is required which has a MSRP of $119.
