Microsoft tests new warning screen when blocking Flash content in Edge

With the upcoming Creators Update for Windows 10, scheduled for spring this year, the Edge browser will block Flash content by default to protect users against all kinds of attacks. On websites that support HTML5, the Flash Player will no longer be loaded.

When a website is still dependent on Flash, then users receive an alert asking them whether they want to execute Flash content or not. In the latest Insiders Build of Windows 10, Microsoft added a new screen in Edge that should better inform users that the browser blocked Flash content and that it can be enabled again with a single mouse click.

Users can then choose to either enable Flash a single time or permanently on the selected website.
