"Microsoft's HoloLens to be sold for less than $500"

Microsoft's eye popping device, the HoloLens, that blends the real world with the digital world, is expected to be sold for under $500, according to experts. The device is expected to ship to developers later this year.

The device requires advanced sensors and a specific lens to make you feel to be inside a virtual world projected by HoloLens. Microsoft has also stated to have developed its own chips for the device. Due to all those requirements it was expected the HoloLens would be an expensive device, however with the below $500 pricetag, Microsoft is able to make it available to a large audience.

Microsoft has stated to release more information on the device during the Build conference in San Francisco, held at the end of April this year.
