Toshiba today announced the availability of its new Trion 150 SSD series. These drives contain Toshiba’s 15nm Triple-Level Cell (TLC) NAND flash. OCZ specifies sequential read speeds up to 550MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 530MB/s. Random write I/O performance is specified at a maximum of 91,000 IOPS.

The Trion 150 will be available in capacities of 120GB, 240GB, 480GB, and 960GB and is currently sold at Newegg at $49.99, $69.99, $139.00 and $269.99 respectively. Additionally, Trion 150 SSDs should provide endurance of up to 240TB total bytes written (TBW)
