Oracle releases critical Java patch

Java producer Oracle has just issued a significant update to Java in an effort to improve its security image which has been tarnished by a number of revelations in recent months.

The update, which is rated as critical by Oracle, contains a massive one hundred and twenty seven new security fixes including fifty one Java fixes tackling highly publicised security vulnerabilities.
