The American company Seagate, best known as manufacturer of hard disk drives will layoff 1,050 of its employees, according to Reuters. The layoffs should save the company about $113 million annually.
The 1,050 employees account for 2% of the total employee count. Seagate saw its revenues decline mainly because it sells less HDDs to PC manufacturers.
