Pirate claims to use display PC in Walmart showroom as seed box

A user on Reddit claims to have installed several applications on a computer in his local Walmart so that it now functions as seed box. Users have downloaded more than 1TB from the display PC  in the showroom of the Walmart's computer department.

Other users on Reddit hardly question whether the user is actually using a Walmart computer. The claim should obviously be taken with a grain of salt, as no proof is provided.

When the user is asked how he achieved to set up the required software on the PC, he answers, “I literally closed out of the display program, opened up Edge, and downloaded qBittorrent Portable. (along with a few other things, such as hiding the folder, disabling notifications, adding a password, etc).”

The software used to seed the content, qBittorrent, is hidden in the taskbar and password protected. So far, users downloaded nearly 1.6TB from the PC which, according to the Reddit user offers upload speeds ranging from 400KiB/s to 1.5MiB/s. The user mainly shares Anime movies which take up about 450GB of disk capacity.

It appears the majority of the commenters on the Reddit post are impressed by action. Some users state they plan to checkout their local Walmart or Best Buy to set up something similar.
