Poll of the day: The Apple hype is over

Yesterday Apple reported its quarterly revenue and had to announce it sold less iPhones, iPad and Macbooks than the quarter before. The company's revenue also decreased for the first time in 13 year. While the numbers are down, Apple still reported a revenue of $50.6 billion in the last quarter. Will the company last?

However, the company sold 13% less products than the previous period and analysts predict Apple's numbers will continue to go down the coming time.

Does this mean that users are no longer wanting to pay a premium for Apple's products? They are in the premium price range and while their performance is usually top notch, it's mainly the brand name for which consumers pay extra. Or will this only last for a short while, because the Cupertino tech giant has proven to be so innovative that it will find a new way to sell more phones, tablets and laptops in the already saturated market. Or maybe the company is able to sell record breaking numbers of a totally new product?

What do you think?
