Pornhub launches VPNhub, a free VPN service with unlimited bandwidth

The world's 30st largest website, Pornhub, has started its own VPN service called VPNhub. Using the VPN it's possible to visit censored website and users can hide their internet traffic from theirĀ  ISP. A VPN also encrypts traffic so users can securely use open Wi-Fi networks.

Users are not monitored according to VPNhub. The free tier of the service offers unlimited bandwidth, automatically selects the nearest server and shows advertisements to users. VPN clients are available for Android, iOS, Windows and macOS.

However, the Windows and macOS clients are only available to paying 'VPNhub Premium' subscribers. Paying users also get an ad-free experience, can choose between more server locations and get faster speeds. The premium version costs just under $13 a month (way more expensive than e.g. NordVPN at $2.75 a month), or $90 a year.

VPNhub promises it does not collect, store or even sell data to third parties. In several countries the service is not available, including Iran, Cuba and Syria. It's likely also users in Egypt and China can't use the service, according to the FAQ.
