Report: Apple tablet real, will launch in Nov.

A November launch is expected for the still unconfirmed Apple tablet device, with various industry insiders claiming they've physically seen the new device.

The rumor mill is in overdrive yet again, this time saying the real design of the device will be ready within six weeks, as a November launch date has been set by Apple executives.  Apple will do its best to launch the product before the Christmas holiday shopping season, and a November release is perfect timing.

Instead of competing with low-cost products from Acer, Asus and others, Apple will instead charge anywhere from $650 up to $799 for its tablet notebook.  Furthermore, it will also have increased video capability, described as "better than the average movie experience," according to a person who has seen the device, though no other details were provided.

Although most Apple products never make it to announcement before being leaked, Apple still attempts to be as quiet as possible before an official product announcement is made.  Rumors of a possible tablet device first surfaced last October, and continued to build momentum, especially when Apple purchased PA Semi -- a chip company -- that reportedly is now responsible for developing the chips to be used in the tablet.

When the company finally announces a product, however, it's normally a notable event, as Apple CEO Steve Jobs and at least one musical guest usually help to introduce a new Apple product in San Francisco, California.
