Rubrik Hires Former ServiceNow CMO Dan Rogers as President

Data management company Rubirk said on Wednesday that it has hired Dan Rogers of ServiceNow as its first-ever company president.

Rogers will be in charge of leading Rubrik’s GTM operations, product marketing, and strategy. Together with CRO Brett Shirk, the two will build the momentum of accelerating the growth of the multi-cloud data control company.

Rubrik’s target is to expand globally and tap huge companies like Microsoft and Salesforce. One of the reasons for the appointment of Rogers is his experience working with Amazon, ServiceNow, and Microsoft. Because of Rogers, these companies were able to grow rapidly, and continue innovating solutions to cater to the demands of businesses.

“Our last fiscal year was a record-breaker for the company as we’ve continued to see strong enterprise adoption for our innovative solutions, which are solving some of the toughest data management challenges modern organizations face today. The addition of Dan to Rubrik’s leadership team will strengthen our ability to quickly scale and further capitalize on the company’s momentum,” said Rubrik co-founder Bipul Sinha.

Rogers helped Santa Clara-based company ServiceNow to increase its annual revenue to an average of 33 percent, for four years. Under his supervision, the company witnessed the fastest-growing S&P to 500 software companies and landed on Forbes’ number one most innovative company in the year 2018.

Next Round of Growth

Rubrik is at a point where it needs to invest in certain instruments to further the next round of growth. According to the company, it is going on a critical process of managing data storage of partners and providing exceptional services to govern confidential data.

“Over 2,500 enterprises and government agencies trust Rubrik to manage, govern, and orchestrate their critical data across data centers and the cloud, and Rubrik is fast becoming the leading data platform. I’m looking forward to working side by side with Rubrik’s exceptional leadership, sales and engineering teams to accelerate the company’s next phase of growth,” Dan Rogers.

Rogers also said that Rubrik is not just a data storage and management company but can become more in the future. More than data storage, the company is also engaged in data performance, data classification, and data analysis.

The company has a $600 million booking run rate and has several cloud partnerships, including Google. In May last year, Rubrik appointed Rinki Sethi as its vice president of information security.
