Sandisk announces 400GB microSD card with MSRP of $249.99

Sandisk has announced a micro-SD card with a capacity of 400GB. The card is a new member in the existing Sandisk Ultra series and will be available in stores with a MSRP of $249.99.


Until now the the largest memory card in that series had a capacity of 200GB and is available at $84.99.

The card meets the A1 App Performance Class specification and the U1 standard which means a sequential write speed of at least 10MB/s is guaranteed. In reality the card could be faster.

The 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card features a ten-year limited warranty and will be available at and other major retailers (Amazon)at a U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $249.99.
