The Extreme II series are specified to deliver up to 550MB/sec sequential read and 510MB/sec sequential write speeds. When it comes to random read/writes it should be to achieve 95,000 random read IOPS and 78,000 random write IOPS. SanDisk has also incorporated their nCache technology in these drives which is a large non volatile write cache,  which should improve random write performance.

The drives have a MSRP of $129.99 for the 120 GB drive, $229.99 for the 240 GB drive and $439.99 for the 480 GB drive.

Besides the new SanDisk Extreme II SSDs, the company also announced SSDs for OEMs and/or PC makers. There are three new series, the U110 SSD, The iSSD i110 and the X110 SSD. The U110 SSD is a cheap drive available in the form factors half-slim SATA, mSATA, mSATA mini, 2.5” cased and NGFF (Next Generation Form Factor).
