The people currently controlling the Slysoft.com domain have posted a message on the website. The domain still appears to be under their control which sets this case apart from that of DVDFab.
The message on Slysoft.com states, "Due to recent regulatory requirements we have had to cease all activities relating to SlySoft Inc. We wish to thank our loyal customers/clients for their patronage over the years."
Domain whois information also shows that no changes have been made to Slysoft.com, the last update to the domain was in September 2015. The domain is also still owned by Giancarlo Bettini, the Antiguan casino owner who is reported to be the CEO of the company.
This is different from the DVDFab case, where the domain was seized by the AACS-LA and disappeared without any notice. The Chinese company was able to come back by moving to China.
So far the Slysoft forums are still up, so users with support questions can still get an answer (and you're also welcome on our forums). Downloading AnyDVD is still possible from Techspot.
Update: Some users are concerned that the authorities might go after them, a Slysoft team member stresses there is no reason too because Slysoft themselves decided to shut down the server, the servers are still under their control and all of them are encrypted.
