The new Switch game Super Smash Bros Ultimate has been leaked two weeks before it planned release. Reddit users report that a physical copy was leaked and dumped. The dump has already made its way to file sharing and torrent sites.

Some users already posted videos on YouTube and Twitch showing they were playing the game. Although those websites initially removed the videos, it seems they are no longer deleted.

Pirates have shared several releases of the game the last couple of days. Users report that not all of them properly worked, at least one release bricked multiple Switch consoles.

One of the pirates calls it “bizarre” that a game like Super Smash Bros Ultimate leaked two weeks before its official release date. The game is scheduled for release on the 7th of December. Interesting is that the release is likely dumped of an actual physical copy of the game. The dump is reportedly leaked by a Mexican source.

Besides risking a bricked console due a bad pirated version, it’s also possible that Nintendo will block consoles that are running the pirated Super Smash Bros Ultimate game.
