The year 2014 has been a great year for us. After we changed ownership (back to the original owner) in 2012 things are slowly getting better. This year we launched a new design and the focus on getting our news up to speed again gave us excellent results. We've been the source of information for stories on many major news sites.

1 - Microsoft OneDrive for Business modifies files as it syncs
Our editor and forum administrator Seán Byrne found out that his Microsoft OneDrive for Business modified files he synced with the service. He decided to investigate and posted the results which showed that the service even renders some files unusable.
2 - WZOR leaks info about Windows 8.2, Windows 9 and cloud based OS
3 - New Threshold screenshots show start menu and windowed apps
The second and third are two of the many leaks on Windows 9 (which actually became Windows 10) this year. Our information came from Russian and Chinese sources, but also from undisclosed sources inside Microsoft.
4 - Belkin routers around the globe unable to connect to the internet (solved)
When we discovered that on one day a LOT of users complained their router didn't work anymore, it wasn't hard to find out they were all from router manufacturer Belkin. We continued to cover the outage until it was resolved and Belkin mailed us with an explanation
5 - This is why DVDFab.com is down – the actual injunction
6 - Now DVDFab doesn’t decrypt anymore: The alternatives
This year DVDFab suffered from actions of the AACS-LA. The licensing body of Blu-ray tried to shut down the company but failed. Nevertheless, DVDFab had to make changes to how they run their company and change their website URL to continue.
7 - Geohot releases universal Android root exploit – just install an APK
The release of an Android root exploit that was as easy as installing an APK also was very popular amongst our readers.
8 - New leak reveals more Windows 9, Office 2015 and Office Gemini details
Another leak in our Windows 9 (Windows 10) series. This time we also were able to disclose some details on Office 2015 and Office Gemini.
9 - Android Lollipop is the next version of Android – revealed by Google developer
We also published many exclusive discoveries on Android this year. We've been covering Google's mobile OS for a while now and broke news on internal Android builds. We also were the first to show the Android Lollipop debug icon confirming the latest version of Android in 2014 would be called Lollipop.
10 - Chinese leaker posts screenshot confirming Windows 9 and Cloud Windows
