Artificial intelligence and machine learning data platform WekaIO was recently awarded the Overall Data Storage Company of the year during the 2021 Data Breakthrough Awards held by the organization Data Breakthrough.
In a press release published on Business Wire, WekaIO’s offerings were recognized for its role in making the process of storing big datasets easier with the help of its advanced infrastructures, combined with the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The Awards is considered a notable program for data technology innovators across the globe. It focuses on different categories such as Big Data, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Data Storage, to name a few.
To provide the service it offers, the company has been working with various private and public cloud storage providers including AWS S3, AWS Outposts, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Scality RING, IBM Cloud, and many others.
This is not the first time that WekaIO was recognized for its work in the processing and storage arena. In February, the company won the Product of the Year award during the Enterprise Data Storage Awards Program by TechTarget, said another press release on Business Wire.
The firm was recognized for its Limitless Data Platform built on WekaFS, its shareable, scalable, and distributable file storage system.
Aside from this, the company has also been awarded by multiple award-giving programs over the past year such as Flash Memory Summit Best of Show, AI Excellence Award, CRN Coolest Cloud Vendor, and Aragon Research Hot Vendor in AI.
It was also nominated and named a finalist in the 2021 Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards to be held by The Business Intelligence Excellence Awards.
