Microsoft is about to finish the Windows 10 Creators Update. The Release To Manufacturing (RTM) version should become available to Windows Insiders this week, according to rumors.
The RTM version is an import step in the release of Windows versions. The Windows 10 Creators Update RTM version will first be released to hardware manufacturers so they can start to implement it on upcoming Windows 10 devices.
Microsoft makes the RTM version available before the version released to the general public. This way manufacturers have sufficient time to make the latest version of the OS available on their computers. Thanks to the Windows Insider program also testers of the update receive access before the general public.
It’s expected that the Creators Update of Windows 10 will become available on the 11th of April. From that date it’s possible to upgrade existing Windows 10 installations or to do a clean install of the Windows 10 Creators Update with Microsoft’s Media Creation Tool.
