Windows 10 pops up at Newegg with release data and pricing info

American online retailer Newegg has posted Windows 10 Professional OEM on their website. The website also lists the release date and price of Microsoft’s upcoming operating system. According to the Newegg website Windows 10 Professional OEM will be released at the 31st of August this year and sold at $149.99, the Home OEM is released at the same date and sold at $109.99.

Users that want to be amongst the first to receive Windows 10 can currently pre-order the Home and Professional OEM editions on the Newegg website.


Most users will likely not need to purchase Windows 10, both Windows 7 and Windows 8(.1) users will get a free upgrade to Windows 10 in the first year after the release of the OS.

Currently Windows 10 is available as Technical Preview. Microsoft released build 10130 to Windows Insiders.
