Ballistix sport LT 2666MHZ DDR4 RAM review

Closing thoughts

Closing this review on the Ballistix Sport
LT 2666MHz kit I have to say that I was impressed by how stable it was, and
most importantly it worked perfectly out of the box with the XMP profile. I wasn’t
able to push the RAM any further than its rated speed, and that was a little
disappointing, but I have to say that I would prefer to buy a faster kit if I needed
the extra speed to avoid pushing the one that I had any further. On the other
hand I was very happy to have this Ballistix Sport LT DDR4 RAM working with
tighter timings and, as you read, the benefits are visible in all my tests, including
the improvement in latency in the real world tests which is  something that is
more than welcomed.

Now this new 2666MHz kit is available in
three different colours, grey, red, and white, so you can choose the one that fits
the colour scheme that you have for your build. There are also two sizes of modules,
one with 4GB and another with 8GB. I am sure that most will probably go for the
2x8GB kit, and this looks to be the best option for those that have a Z270 or
the new AMD Ryzen.

The final sentence is that the Ballistix
Sport LT  4x4GB DDR4 is giving you more options, continues to have a very sexy
look, delivers very good performance, and also has very good build quality,
something that we have come to expect at this point.

I give the Ballistix Sport LT DDR4 kit
the ‘Very Good’ Award
