Playing with timings and speed
I will admit that I am not a fan when it
comes to overclocking memory, as from personal experience I learned that in
many cases it creates more problems to be solved, and the difference most of
the time will be insignificant for the amount of time that you have invested
trying to overclock your RAM. I have however decided that I would be
interesting in seeing what this DDR4 RAM from Crucial can do. So I began
testing this RAM at 2133MHz with various timings starting from 12-12-12-35 and
up to 2666MHz. In all my testing the Command Rate (CR) value was left to 2T and
also the voltage was left at the default 1.2V. Below you will find a graph that
displays the results that I obtained using only AIDA64.

that it was very interesting. But I will have to say that I personally didn’t
notice any difference in speed in my daily tasks.
